Compassionate Women Orphanage Centre is both divine and human. It is called by God the father to be established, commissioned and also ordained by God the Son (Jesus Christ) led, directed and guided by God the Spirit (the comforter) and incorporated in Nigeria by Corporate Affairs commission Abuja, registered and confirmed by Abia State and Akwa Ibom State governments and loved by good spirited citizens and all lovers of the gospel.

Compassionate Women Orphanage Centre is a home, a family and a house to the orphans, abandoned children, deformed children, motherless babies and the special home for the disabled children. The gap and vacuum created as a result of the absence of parents are covered. The children in Compassionate Women Orphanage Centre are fuly parented, culturalized, built, familiarized, helped fully fathered and fully mothered with total parental rights, honours and all parental privileges.

Making all the Abandoned Children the Moses of our Generation.

Moses, the first leader, first prophet, first teacher, first Pastor and the law giver of Israel was dropped at the seashore and was picked up by Pharaoh’s daughter who adopted him as a baby boy before he grew to become whom he was, through the releasing of his hidden potentials. We discover many Moses in some of the abandoned children and shall build them to become Moses of their very generation, there are many Moseses in them.

Obed the son of Ruth and Boaz was adopted by Naomi who cared for him. Compassionate Women Orphanage Centre shall bring out the David in the loins of the orphans and abandoned children whose futures shall be very great because we see many Davids and Solomons in the loins of the neglected orphans and despised and abandoned children, therefore help us to actualize this task.

Joseph the son of Jacob is still among the Orphans and rejected Children.

Joseph the eleventh son of Jacob (Israel) was rejected, sold, enslaved, imprisoned and totally was abandoned by his brethren, who later become their leader, their master, their keeper, their preserver and the their commander to whom all of them later bowed to, and who became the king in Egypt and under whose umbrella the entire race of Israel was sustained, cared for, fed and protected. We want to voce it out and publicly that there are many Josephs among the orphans and abandoned children whose talents, gifts, potentials, visions and missions need to be developed, excavated, rooted out and be unveiled in order to be benefitted by others in this generation and to become great blessings to this nation too. Timothy was Apostle Paul’s disciple who heard and learnt the word of God as an infant through his mother and grandmother who later became a teacher, leader and a Bishop. There are many church leaders, great teachers, professors and Bishops among the abandoned children, the despised orphans and other children in our orphanage home today. These hidden potentials, talents, gifts, vision, missions and hidden greatness in these children need all our efforts and contributions to really actualize them. God did not create any useless creature. Join hand with us to bring out the great Timothy in these children in order to open up their gifts to the glory of God.

David, the Irrelevant son of Jesse who Became the Most relevant King in Israel is among these Children.

At the presence of Prophet Samuel who came to anoint one of the sons of Jesse as the greatest King that ever reigned. Jesse honoured other children of his and Samuel also believed that. Jesse saw David as irrelevant for such position, yet it was only the young and despised David that the heart and choice of God relied strongly. It was David who killed Goliath the strongest and the greatest enemy of Israel. It was king David that established the kingdom, defeated all the battles around him, gave his people victory, honoured God greatly, loved God greatly, very pious, penitent, obedient and the best king in history since the world began. David was the best, most pious, the greatest, most faithful and the most prophetic king ever reigned. Among the rejected and the abandoned children in our orphanage home, there are many Davids to be discovered, therefore, we call upon the general public to join hands with us to discover these Davids in our orphanage home by supporting, assisting and by helping us to go forward.

Jesus Blessed the Little Children.

Jesus the son of God the savior of the whole world, the redeemer and the lord that knows the hearts and the future of all men blessed the little children as was recorded in the Bible.

Why did Jesus prayed for these children and what did HE pray for them? Jesus knew what the future and feature of those children shall be and HE prayed for continuous blessings, sustenance of such blessings, manifestations of such blessings and for the preservation of such children in order to give birth to such hidden blessings in them and such really happened as the Lord prayed for them. There is no doubt that those infants prayed for, at about 32AD were the church fathers we heard about 110AD, who preserved our Bible.

The orphans and abandoned children in our orphanage home doubtlessly are full of potentials, rich in wisdom, great in knowledge and wonderful in understanding. We need men and women, lover of God and all good spirited individuals in our country to join hands with us to bring out such rich potentials in these children in our orphanage home in order to help them become whom God created them originally to become.

The Orphans, Motherless Babies and all Abandoned Children in Orphanage home are lent to God as Prophet Samuel was.

Hannah the mother of Samuel lent her son Samuel to God as an infant or as a baby who dwelt in the house of God till his adulthood, who also became the spokesman of God, the early prophet of God, teacher, national coordinator of Israel, Judge and the founder of the school of prophets (Bible College) in Israel, the announcer of the first and second kings in Israel and the father of the nation who reshaped Israel after many crises in the land. The abandoned children, Orphans and the Motherless babies in our orphanage home are dedicated to God, lent to God, surrendered to God and totally handed over to God who shall be our Samuel tomorrow, because we believe there are many Samuels and many Esthers among the orphans and other disabled children. Therefore contribute to make these children great and to develop the hidden potentials in order to help our country and our society at large.

There are great potentials and riches undeveloped still militating inside these neglected children.

To Bring out the Esthers out of the Female Orphans and Abandoned Children.

Queen Esther was an Orphan without any helper and without any hope of her survival. She was only cared by her uncle who had pity on her hence no other means of her survival. Nobody knew that the great potential to become a queen, the wife of the Gentile greatest king was hidden in an orphan, nobody knew that the despised orphan shall be the most beautiful lady in the country, nobody knew that a neglected and less regarded orphan shall be the choice of the greatest king (the then head of thr state of the Persian world).

It was Queen Esther that delivered and saved Israel nation in the time of their destruction in Persia. It was Queen Esther that brought great favour to the Jewish refugees and the Hebrew captives that meant nothing to the citizens by then. We believe strongly that there are many Esthers among our female orphans and female children in our orphanage home and other orphanage homes in Nigeria. Therefore let us join hands together to actualize these among these orphans. Let us become the second Modekiah to care for these hidden Esthers in our Orphanage home and God shall never forget any giver or supporter of these little and helpless children, therefore support us with whatever you can do.

There are many Jephthahs among the rejected Children and other Orphans on our Orphanage centres. Still unknown.

Jephthah was abused, neglected, insulted and finally rejected and ejected out of his fathers house. He lived outside his village, outside his town, outside his people and outside his kinsmen. He was cared by his maternal relations because his people ejected and rejected him, but nobody knew that the potential to lead and to deliver the whole land was in such rejected and ejected man who was despised by his own people. The children known as abandoned children are also known as rejected children. We believe there are many Jephthahs among the rejected children presently in our Orphanage home and other Orphanage centres in our nation.

The help of Jephthah was needed by the whole land when the enemies oppressed them and there was no man to lead, no man to fight and no man to face the enemies and Jephthah was remembered who was invited to fight for his people, who truly fought against the enemies, defeated them and won the battle for his people. Who among his people knew that the person they rejected, ejected and pushed out of the land was their war lord, their leader and their deliverer in times of their crises.

Let us join hands together to support, care, help and to sponsor these orphans and rejected children whose Jephthahaisms have not been discovered. He was despised by the ruling power and the authority of the nation, hunted to be killed, rejected and hated, but protected by HIS MOTHER who with her husband’s wisdom took the baby Jesus to Egypt for protection and for security purposes, hence the civil and political power in control neglected HIM and sought ways to kill HIM. HE was not honoured but plans were on to destroy the infant JESUS before HIS earthly parents took him to Egypt for security where they stayed till the tyrant died, before they returned to the land of Israel. This rejected tone whom they sought to kill is the savior of the entire world, the son of God, the power of powers, Lord of Lords, King of Kings, the creator of all seats and authorities, the author of life, the way, the truth and life, the bread of life, water of life and the light of the world. Bible the Word of God:

The children in Compassionate Women Orphanage Centre are fully taught and steadily indoctrinated with the word of God. They are taught that the Holy Bible is the word of God, written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and made available to man to read, to learn, to hear and to understand the truth from the will and mind of God.

God Created the World:

The children are thoroughly indoctrinated that God created the entire world, created man, created the land, heaven, seas, animals, birds and fishes in the sea. We planted into their hearts to believe that no idol;, no man, no spirit and no angel helped God in creating all HE created and everything we see in the world today. God is the only creator of all things.

God is our Father who Loves us:

They are made to believe that God is our father who loves and cares for us, that God is our provider, our protector, our keeper, our helper, our supplier, our shepherd and our great father who is in heaven, to whom all our prayers, praises, thanks and testimonies shall go. God as our father is the supplier of our foods, our money and the sustainer of our lives.

God is in Heaven and Everywhere:

The children in our orphanage home are indoctrinated to understand that God our father is in heaven and also everywhere and hears our secrets, our prayers, our tears and knows our needs and also supplies our needs as we put our trust in Him and fully rely on His love and power to respond to us.

God is one God in three Persons:

God is one God and never three gods, but in three distinct persons as “The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit”. The father is the first person of the Trinity, the son (Jesus Christ) is the second person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. This is the mystery of God but very confucious to the unbeliever and carnal man.

Jesus the Son of God:

Jesus is the son of God who was crucified at the cross of Calvary, who truly died and was buried, but after the third day, resurrected from the grave and walked, seen and at with people, who after some days ascend to heaven to be with the father and was witnessed by many people. His blood washes away our sins, His name saves us from sin, His authority takes us to heaven, faith in His name gives us divine adoption as sons of God, walking with Him makes us righteous while prayer in His name leads us to miracles, healing and daily freedom. His name scatters demons and powers of darkness away.

Sin, Hell Fire and Heaven:

Compassionate Women Orphanage Centre have it as a task to teach the children the dangers in sins like lying, stealing, fornication, fighting, cheating, occultism, witch-crafting and other wickedness and also teaches them the dangers, pains and punishment in hellfire as a result of sins and negligence to the truth. The children are taught that the denial of Jesus Christ resulting to all kinds of sins shall take them to hellfire.

COWOM STAFF ORIENTATION AND EMPLOYMENT GUIDELINES

Compassionate Women Orphanage Centre (Compassionate Women Orphanage Home) is an orphanage home where the orphans abandoned children, rejected children, motherless children and where other unfortunate children are cared, protected and trained.

This Orphanage home is built on holiness, truth, love and on the scriptural standards, therefore belongs to God and not to man. It is a specific calling from God and never a desire to make wealth or money.

Sin is not permitted; every staff must be sincere, clean, truthful and Christ-oriented in all her dealings with this orphanage home that is God’s own institution to build and to help the helpless.

Talkativeness, slanderous words, gossip, lying, boasting or wrong use of tongues are not allowed and anyone found in any of these shall be dismissed and also be sacked without benefit.

Fighting, quarrelling, malice or any type of enmity is a crime in this orphanage home, therefore any person found in such shall be sacked and her appointment terminated. This is God’s own organization where love, peace, holiness and forgiveness shall reign.

Any staff discovered in hypocrisy or bad representation of this orphanage home in secret meeting against this orphanage or in any manner of discussion that projects the failures, evils and dangers of the Director of this orphanage home or the orphanage home as an organization which are not true, but baseless fiction to destroy this orphanage shall have her appointment terminated.

Non-staff of Compassionate Women Orphanage Centre is not allowed to go into the orphanage rooms or hall without the approval of the sitting staff on duty. If this is done, the careless staff appointment shall be terminated.

Staff of this orphanage home shall not handover the keys of the home to any non-staff of the Compassionate Women Orphanage home; this is grievous offence in management.

No staff shall leave or close duty without handing over to the incoming staff with document provided for that purpose.

This orphanage home shall not be governed by any external person or persons, neither such person nor persons allowed for any free entry into the rooms, unless allowed by the management of COWOM.

No staff shall close without special prayers with the children, neither shall any staff leave office without proper handover to the incoming staff on duty.

Stealing, misusing of the orphanage items or seizing materials, cash or foods donated by the good spirited citizens to the orphanage home is a crime and anyone found in such practice shall be seen as a criminal.

Crafty activities are not allowed, hide and talk and evil tongues that aimed at destroying the orphanage is not allowed, any one discovered on that shall be dismissed. This orphanage home is a holy orphanage home, therefore holiness is all expected.

Late coming is not allowed without a tangible reason, also absence and abandonment of duties is not allowed without tangible reasons or acceptable excuses.

Taking the events in this orphanage home to outsiders as a means to destroy the image of this holiness orphanage home is a crime and anyone found on that shall have her appointment terminated, as the director of this orphanage centre is holy, so we expect every staff to be holy.

Every staff of this orphanage home shall love the children, love her fellow staff and love this orphanage and shall fight for its growth and progress.

Every staff shall be a co-builder of this orphanage home and shall be great partner in progress and in success.

On the day of prayer and fellowship, every staff must be present and must participate in full and must come on time for the prayers and for full discussion with our God.

The cleanness of the home, the compound and its environs are the businesses of the staff on duty, while the cleanness or neatness of the children in this orphanage home shall never be neglected by the staff on duty. The children must always be neat and clean.

This orphanage home does not allow women on trousers, nor to appear on short, therefore no staff is allowed to dress casually, seductively or such appearance that can suggest evil tools to immorality. Deut. 22: 5.

Alcoholic drinks, smoking, hard drugs or any form of tobacco usage are not allowed in this godly organization, nor do we permit any visit of opposite sex to the workers unless such person or persons are relations to the visited (staff).

We do not allow our staff that should give practical examples to the children in this home to appear worldly or to put any dress that can expose the inner parts of their body, nor do we allow any seductive dressing in this home that is a holy foundation.

Love among the staff shall be our watch word and shall always be exemplificed everyday. Hatred is not allowed in our orphanage home which is built upon the Bible principles.

Diligence is expected by every staff, while obedience to the authority of this home shall never be taken lightly at all; obedience, holiness and faithfulness shall be our focus.

Every staff who needs the blessings of God should take this work as her own; this is the initial miracle of God to the penitent. Market Evangelism is a part of our work, which every staff shall participate.

The aim, purpose and the focus of Compassionate Women Orphanage Centre shall also be the aim, purpose and focus of any staff of this ministry and to actualize all, shall be the goal of every employed staff because she is employed only to actualize all. Our focus is to care, cater, feed, house, train and to help the orphans, abandoned children, motherless babies, unfortunate children and others.

Every staff of Compassionate Women Orphanage Centre shall be very friendly and patiently with the visitors and others that come for one enquiry or the other. Soft and mild approach is required every time while sad faces and hostile approach are not allowed. Holiness shall always be exemplified.

Good reception and love exemplifications are required by the staff while receiving visitors and others that may come to the compassionate home. Hostile responses are not allowed, no matter how harsh and wild the visitor may be. Never quarrel with your child, nor argue with your visitors but always mild and simple approach. Holiness standards and approaches shall reflect in all our dealings with the visitors and with the children in this orphanage.

Antagonistic relationship with the Director, with the management or with the fellow staff is not allowed, if such is discovered, the offender shall be dismissed immediately. We do not allow cold war of any type nor malice because this is a holy organization where Christ reigns supreme and where righteousness covers every action.

Any staff who cannot live up to the standard of holiness required in this orphanage home should resign. We hate and abhor sins and preach against sins, lying, deceit, boasting, cheating, fighting, smoking, adultery, fornication, witchcraft and wizardry, occultation, Idolatry, hypocrisy, enmity, hatred, sorcery, worldliness, taking of alcoholic beverages, quarreling, stealing and any other evil practice, we shall never work with persons of such attitude or evil behaviours because this is godly and holiness organization.

Some haters of the gospel and good works of God shall hate our gospel work in building the rejected children and orphans and may form gossip group and antagonistic candidates against this Orphanage home pf God; therefore, we warn our staff to avoid any relationship with such people as long as such staff wants to work with us, because her relationship with such people may pollute the heart of the innocent staff and push her into unnecessary behaviour which we may not tolerate but dismiss her. This orphanage home led, mandated, called and approved by God, therefore obey God.

The Director of Compassionate Women Orphanage Centre is a prophet, discerner of spirits, Anthropologist, senior psychologist and a believer full of the Holy Spirit to reveal and to expose all secret actions of men, therefore may not neglect any divine revelation against any staff or others but must treat such scripturally, hence this orphanage home belongs to God.

Attention must be given to the physical health of children in the compassionate home and to noticeable behaviour of each child whether good or bad behaviour in order to plan how best to help such child, because our supreme task is to make them become good and achieve the best of their destiny.

Compassionate Women Orphanage Home is not money making organization but a non-profit making ministry, therefore every staff must know this and follow it up because the supreme task of this organization is to make useless children to become useful and to restore the unfortunate children to what God had in mind while creating them, even when they were in the wombs.

Any visitor or neighbor who donates anything in the orphanage home for the home and for the children must drop his or her address, phone contact and other means of reaching him or her and that which he or she dropped must be carefully recorded in the compassionate form specially prepared for such purpose no matter how small that may be.

No outsider (non-staff) is allowed to sleep in this orphanage, no matter his or her situation and excuses, this is to avoid regrettable dangers tomorrow, because evil people may pretend to have one problem or the other and appeal for help, while their hearts will be running to commit evil.

No staff should receive children, babies or infants from unknown persons, from friends, from relatives, neighbours, visitors or from travelers who may want to drop their child or children in this orphanage home in order to go to market, to work or for any other place within or outside this city who may want to take back the child/children whenever he or she returns. We do not permit this, it is too dangerous and no staff is allowed to come to duty with her child or the child of her friend, neighbor or that of her relation, to avoid any unnecessary set up or gang up of the enemies against this orphanage home or against any staff. Carefulness is a part of holiness, lets be more careful.

No child shall be accepted here unless that passes through the legal and official process of this organization. We do not buy children and do not sell children; our own business is fully humanitarian, charitable, benevolent and Christ-oriented only, without any material pursuit and without and deceit.

Our orphanage home is open to receive the orphans, abandoned children, motherless babies, rejected and wandering children or other children with unfortunate stories, but this will be done legally, properly and constitutionally with the approval and guidelines of the director and in agreement with the government orders and approval.

We are not on illegal and sinful business but in a business approved by God, taught by Jesus Christ and approved by the state and federal government of Nigeria, therefore, any staff that derails, deviates and does contrarily shall bear the consequences of her offense(s) on her shoulder. We carry our duties sincerely, faithfully, righteously and in faith focusing heaven with fer of God, expecting the rapture of the saints soonest. Our vision is not to grab money, but to care for the orphans and abandoned children only.

The children in the orphanage home should never be allowed to sleep alone without a staff on duty, no matter the excuse of such staff, nor should the children be sent out by the staff for whatever errand she may deem necessary, nor should the children roam the street by order of any staff, this is a serious offence in our orphanage, but a staff must guard and guide children outside our orphanage home.

The children shall be taken to worship, to Godly fellowship and to Christ oriented program by the staff on duty every day at the time appointed for that in order to bring them to Christ and to help them experience Bible Salvation very early in their lives, hence, this is one of our major targets in running this orphanage home. The children must also be registered in one school and shall be led to the school by a staff and shall also be brought back by the same staff.

Our orphanage home is established on gospel foundation with the holiness back ground and whatever is given or donated to our orphanage is given to Christ Matt, 25:34-45; 2Cor. 9:6-8; Col. 3:23-24; Lk. 6:38; Gal. 6:2, 10; Matt. 10:42; James 2:15-17; Lk. 3:10-11, 1; Pet. 3:8-11 and our God shall never fail to bless and enrich as many as may contribute to this godly project of saving the orphans and rejected children. The orphans in our orphanage homes rejoice greatly whenever gifts came to them and they often pray for the givers.

Compassionate Women Orphanage Centre is one of the Gospel Ministries in EL GROUP OF INTERNATIONAL GOSPEL ORGANIZATION (ELGIGO) which were the visions, initiatives, missions and ministries of Rev. Pro. Emma Ononuju and his wife Rev. Dr. (Mrs.) Alicezuriel Ononuju.
